A note from Sandra….
sandra_webMy passion is empowering students with tools to support themselves. I love to see students have a variety of tools to support their well-being, to be able to self-regulate, and self manage their mind and emotions. I also have realized the best learning format is a complete immersion. Expect to be immersed in all aspects of Yoga for nine-months. My goal is for you to have your own experience of the power of Yoga!

Through your own nine-month journey you will be better equipped to serve as a guide to your future students. Dedicated students make excellent Yoga teachers! If you approach this program whole-heartedly you will come out transformed and through your own inner experience you will be a power-filled teacher! You will share from your own personal experience. I recognize that Yoga is an inner journey. I always want to honor and respect that as I bring programs forward. I teach this program similar to the way that I was originally taught. My original training had an Eastern approach to learning. Repetition creates expertise. I trust by diving in and experiencing Yoga you will teach from a place of knowing instead of borrowed knowledge. I hope to give enough freedom to each student to move through this program in a way that suites their desired outcome. We always have participants that want to deepen their own practice while others have the goal of teaching. This training will benefit both. We have students join at all levels and ages. Our youngest students was in their early twenties and our oldest thus far was 76. There is a place for everyone in this training. I am calling all seekers, all those that want to be a light in the world, the children of the earth that want to make a difference and help heal the planet. I want to guide you in transforming and elevating your consciousness in a way that will serve you and all those around you. You will learn tools for healthy living and become a more balanced individual. I am supported by Jenny Reitz and John Stockberger. This program would not be possible without their loving support as they help hold space for the sacred container we create together to support your process. You hope you might choose to embark on an inner journey of a lifetime.
A note from Jenny...
jenny_webI’m so honored and excited to be a part of the Indra’s Grace teacher training program again this year. I completed my 200-hour teacher training with Sandra at Indra’s Grace in 2013 and am so delighted to have been involved with the teacher trainings in some capacity since then. In 2014, I received my 500-hour teacher training certification from Sondra Loring and Raghunath Cappo at Sadhana Yoga in Hudson, New York.

My 200-hour training at Indra’s Grace was focused on the fundamentals of traditional, Hatha yoga including a rich and thorough coverage of Pranayama and the subtle and sometimes understated aspects of the yoga practice. My 500-hour training was focused on the Vinyasa style of yoga with a strong emphasis on philosophy, in the form of studying the ancient yoga texts; Bhakti, the yoga of devotion; and Naad yoga, the yoga of sound including chanting, mantra and harmonium. My teaching style is a light-hearted blend of all of these elements.

I consider Indra’s Grace my “home studio” but I also have experience teaching at other studios in the DFW metroplex as well as in a university setting at TCU. My goal is to effectively translate my experiences with teaching in different environments and studying a variety of styles of yoga into something useful and beneficial for students going through the teacher training program at Indra’s Grace.
A note from John...
john_webMy first experiences of yoga were at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta in 1989. I have spent many years since then studying the philosophies and practices of many meditation, yoga and martial traditions. Following an extended health crisis I found my way to Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Yoga and meditation have been instrumental in my journey toward health, happiness and wholeness. I am very privileged to be invited back for another Teacher Training at Indra's Grace. I really enjoy the deep dive this extended immersion allows.
